Compassionate & Comprehensive Therapy with Hina
Hello, my name is Hina. I am a registered counsellor with a Master’s in Counseling and an ACA Level 2 Counselor certification. I help clients deal more effectively with intense emotions like sadness, depression, or anger, as well as ongoing anxiety, nervousness, or worry. Together, we will investigate how these feelings came to be and why they haven’t disappeared. By doing this, we can better comprehend the problem and cultivate the skills and strategies necessary to manage it and/or prevent it from happening again in the future.
I work with you through the rough parts of life while listening to your experiences because I emphasize a Trauma-Informed, Person-Centred therapy approach. I recognize that life’s path might occasionally feel disorienting and lonely. This is why I am so committed to helping you feel protected, connected, and heard.
I provide individual therapy with a focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships (including parent-child and spouse relationships), and mood disorders. My approach is non-judgemental and patient, utilizing a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma Informed and Personal Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness.
Please be aware that Medicare does not cover treatment sessions.
I now offer telehealth services via phone and video. I find it gratifying that this type of treatment is available, as it allows clients to work through their problems in a setting that is comfortable for them.
